Hit_Bull_Win_Steak : Look at their beans and rice…… Rice is from a box and the beans are from a can
Ruger5 : Heck, I'd settle for a casual diner like 59 Diner (is that even around anymore?) in Town Center. I don't want to have to drive to the front to eat breakfast or to have a sandwich at someplace other than a fast foodie.

Tumu_ : true, but the salsas and queso are better than most and even better when mixed together.
Not Kingwood, but what does everyone think of La Casita? We go there a lot too.
asasolid2r : Ok but I'm not going to pick a place based on their salsa and queso
Tumu_ : lol, neither would I, but sometimes you have to keep the powers that be happy even if they like to do things like keep the refrigerator door open or insist on taking the in-laws out to eat once a week.
Why is the bubble now comprised of mostly apartments and houses with zero upscale dining?
Tumu_ : The opposite of upscale, but have you been to The Food Zone off 1314 lately? It might be worth a wander around to see what looks and smells good - the food will definitely be better than Pueblo Viejo. They've come a long way from the early days of just a few trucks with weird hours.
Giraffes : I was there today for lunch. Had their Mambo Classic. Fried white fish, and shrimp. Stuffed crab and a stuffed shrimp. I keep telling them to ease off on the rice, but they contiue to keep giving half a pound of it (per say). $18.99. Great deal IMO.
