When the trail system for kingwood was developed it wasn't developed obviously for e-bikes and electric scooters. There are too many blind spots twists and turns that presents safety issues for pedestrians. I can't wrap my head around someone's kid threatened to do bodily injury to another person even after they themselves were allegedly assaulted by someone else for a similar incident. I find it interesting the same kids accused the adult with perv behavior for videoing them and threatened to have the cops called on them. Thats some Nelly Olson BS right there. Sorry not sorry. My kids grew up here and never once did any adult say two chits to them when they road their bikes regular scooters, roller blades etc on the trails just saying….
e : I agree. Built for walking, jogging and regular bicycling. That said, I have had a few close calls with those I call "speed bikers".
luv2eatsushi : Reporting anything to your HOA, like Sterling, you might as well be talking to the wall. But if you leave you garbage cans out overnight, they send the Goon Squad out. Did anyone happen to see the town truck that has been parked on Park Garden, been there weeks and nothing has happened. The owner of the truck must think he is back in the trailer court. HOA has done nothing up to this point. Commercial vehicles are NOT allowed to park on the street overnight.

Rode my Ebike about 5 miles today, about half on the greenbelts. Lots of people out in the sun and fresh air, with an assortment of age groups and dogs. All responded positively to my greeting and notice of passing on the left. It was a shortened ride; the wind was a bit more than I anticipated. It was a pleasant experience, very normal for me.

Doddlebug50 : thank you for replying to my post. I was just suggesting that the greenbelts provide plenty of room for everyone to take advantage of the asset. If you want to round up all the middle schoolers who flaunt authority, what kind of job would all the gatekeepers, cat herders and day care professionals on campus be left with to educate? Just because they failed with some of the parents don't they deserve 2nd and 3rd chances to make amends?
Kids behavior is directly linked to parents behavior.
myopinions4me : That's not necessarily true. Good parents can have kids that do bad things and I think peer pressure has a lot to do with their bad behavior. « Back to Chat
