TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Because Humble schools have no real discipline and nearly no consequences other than ISS. Until our schools stop this "passive parenting" type of discipline, we will continue to see ridiculous scenarios from kids

Thats the problem with todays kids. They think its funny to do stupid crap like this and because they know there are not any repercussions. If this had gone out as a true call someone might have gottn shot.

Maybe a good A** whoopin and some jail with a lot of community service time will wake them up.

Kirstib8s : Discipline starts at home. Parents need to discipline their kids and then maybe they would know how to act while away from them.

Donnawisdom : Unfortunately there are few if any consequences these days so kids do crazy things. I question parenting skills when parents choose being friends with their children instead of parents. Consequences should trump actions.

This is appalling sweetie. Wtf. It makes me so sad, mad, angry, upset....disappointed....etc. what in the world are today's kids coming to?

Chiza : It's appalling to think after ALL the pain and suffering inflicted on society by these shootings, these kids think of this as a joke. The parents should consider themselves a colossal failure. The teaching moments have passed, now their kids are the teaching moment examples of what not to do.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : I totally agree with you. But kids need to learn about consequences in society - like school. What seems to be happening is that parents complain that any punishment is too harsh so the schools back down.
