He was within his legal right to do so. He could've been carrying a rifle, shotgun, sword, knife, spear, battle axe, nunchucks, mace, club, baseball bat, or tire iron lawfully as long as he wasn't threatening anyone. I know y'all are in the bubble but this is Texas, y'all.

Things are getting bad around here. The bubble has most certainly burst. I wonder if this might be the same individual who tried to mug that lady on the trails the other day. Didn't hear if he was caught or not.

oldarn : Seems like this is happening more frequently, which is very sad. Kingwood is turning into Kinghood.

mm4731 : I'm thinking he'd turn that big blade into a ninja throwing star and take somebody's head off.

buffaloglenn: Thank you for the coins!

What's the update on this? Being an older guy in Kingwood, I get the feeling he was tired of someone's BS.

eighteen : We should assign "Trail Blazers". Unified vest, armed protection! They cannot take our 100+ miles of trails away!

Jellybeaner : it is more frequent, but social media let's everyone know as soon as it happens. Kingwood is slowly going downhill, the next 10 - 15 years will be different Emoticon

doddlebug : What if you just had the hoodie, or rifle, would that be normal?
