#msg5986886CVS - I just went to pick up an RX and grabbed a bottle of Tylenol. They said they can no longer checkout anything from the store. I'm sure the expression on my face said it all. She said some people messed some things up for everyone. So, I can't pay for this here and I have to do self-checkout in the front? Both ladies, pharmacy and self-checkout, were very nice but I think I need to find another pharmacy. Ugh.

KanKan : Somedays the drive thru line takes so long. I thought drive thrus were to be quick and convenient. Thank God I get my meds mailed to me but

murry alot of times have to pick up hers.

Ohhhh dont get me started. Ive been inside at the pharmacy counter listening to those people in the drive thru. Those people coming thru in the drivethru argue, fuss, want to change their prescriptions. One person will take forever because...they dont like what the pharmacy tech is telling them.

I do. I pick up my prescriptions...pay..then sweep thru the store for all my other stuff. But walgreens doesnt have self checkout.

There are a lot of senior citizens in Kingwood. Im one of them. I just dont argue with cashiers.

Call the corporate complaint line and calmly explain the issue and how it made you not want to return. This sounds like a local manager on a power trip to punish employees not giving a darn that it is negatively impacting customers. The employees cannot do anything about it but if corporate gets complaints it will get sorted(if it isnt a national directive)

Kittle : This was the first time this happened. Not sure what someone did to mess it up. I usually use the drive through but had to get something for Snowball as well as my Tylenol.

I can see not checking out non over the counter pharmacy things. But Tylenol or other medications should be fine. I transferred all my Rx's to HEB. It is convenient and I never had a problem. Always so nice and really try to answer all my questions.

wow, they could at least have a self checkout kiosk back there for store items, then :0 Rx bought from them, I get that, but store stock from a self use kiosk close by would be easy to accomplish :0

When a store makes decisions like that, I stop going.
Sometimes it hurts.
Like Taco Bell. Only person in there and the kid won't take my order, says I have to go do it electronically.

Cost cutting so they dint have hire a petson, I bet. While I like self-check, it shouldn't be the only option. There should always be a human checker.
