We just opened an account at Investex Credit Union. We are thinking a CU might be a better choice right now.

Is Amegy still there? I would recommend them any day.

RachelS : We've been with Chartway Credit Union for years. The closest branch is in Humble though.

Ruger5 : I hate BOA. They took money out of my dad's account that they had no business taking. I went up there. I had to fight like heck. They had been doing it for a couple of years and he wasn't paying attention to it and then when I started looking at the account, I saw it and they said oh well we can only refund for the last three months. We went back-and-forth. I got my friend who is a lawyer involved and I was able just to get one year back, but it was terrible. I pulled his money out and I put in another bank.

Ain't stepped into a bank since 2018

I am currently at Chase for both business and personal. However they are pissing me off on the business side. They are charging us for CASH deposits.... DUH, we run a largely cash business. Such a money grab!!! It is such a pain to change banks but I am on the verge of pulling the trigger.
