Current radar 325pm A few scattered showers and thunderstorms have popped up this afternoon in SE Texas. We're at the tail end of the system that's causing all the severe weather in Kentucky. Nothing looks to be severe but we could definitely see some brief heavy downpours thru rush hour. 👍 ........ HRRR models for this evening showing scattered showers along the front from now (3pm) until after 6pm. Things quiet down by sunset.

StormChaser : I would love some rain! But, I have an outdoor project that has to be done today so I hope it does not hinder me!

I'm glad we got *some* rain.

I was laying in bed around 7 last night, watching Reed's live stream, and I must have dozed off.

I woke up around 8:15pm to my generator BRIEFLY kicking on when the lights flickered. (That and a 60 pound yellow dog jumping on my face like a big ole baby lol) 😆🤦‍♀️

I didn't even mean to fall asleep but I was SO tired! I've been doing a bunch of spring cleaning for the last week.

Anyway, I checked the radar & and went back to bed until 2AM. 😴

We received .43 inches of rain in Trailwood. (Its better than nothing)

As of 2:30am, it actually feels a lot nicer out here!

72 degrees, 60° dew point and 61% humidity.

Today's forecast also looks a bit better with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 95 degrees. 🌞

We were very pleasantly surprised when we got a very nice shower later in the evening. Our total was the like yours at .42 inches.

Hopefully the lower humidity holds thru the morning as I need to work in flower beds before the heat and humidity soar again tomorrow.
