Creekwood parents stop parking on WLH

We have done that too...and I have taken it to the school during the day at tines as well.

Heaven forbid the little snowflakes get a bit warm on their torturous 10 minute walk to school, or worse yet drizzled on. Apparently an umbrella is just too big a burden to carry. What drives me crazy is when the Humble School District police completely shut down Kingwood Drive when the high school lets out so that the students who drive to high school can leave the parking lot unimpeded. Isn't that why there's a traffic light there? I have sat there for well over 5 minutes at a time so that the entitled ones don't have the torturous burden of actually waiting at a traffic light. Heaven forbid! The whole parent school pickup thing in Kingwood is completely out of control. These helicopter parents do everything but clean their kids posteriors after using the toilet, then sit in wonderment of what went wrong when their kids are 26 years old and can't handle even the slightest adversity.

CaffeineFreeI am ok with the line turning in to make the right. It's the person who is past the school going west, outbound, who stops when their child is not even there yet. No flashers, no nothing, just brake lights.

My kids are zoned to NCISD schools so, out of curiosity, I googled the Humble ISD bell schedules. Wow!! I'm a little jealous of how late their middle schools start! My 8th grader is out the door at 6am. They get on the bus at 6:08, dropped off at school at 6:35, and first period starts at 7:00. The sun isn't even up yet when my kid is getting on/off the bus in the morning 😭

Allow me to add the problem worsens when you factor in all the moms of Kingwood that drive those big *** SUV's.
Suburbans, Tahoes, Denalis, Expeditions, Escalates.

Back in the day when my kids were at Creekwood I used to park at the Church next door and they would walk to my car....
