Cops arrest guy in KW who has 15 warrants! That's crazy.

I've known several people who had no idea there were warrants out for them. You're not necessarily notified.

Agreed! Also, I've known people who didn't get legal notices because they moved and their landlord or the next tenant didn't forward their mail, but threw their mail away. Or the changed phone numbers & domicile etc to get away from an abusive boyfriend - but it meant govt agencies or courts couldn't find them, either.

sweetie: because class c warrants are not for violent crimes etc. They're for tickets, failure to appear, skipping jury duty, minor infractions like that.

Perelandran : Shoplifting up to $500, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, drug paraphernalia, so on and so fourth... ðŸ™„

One doesn't get Class C violations without being aware of it. And it's not the court's responsibility to update an offender's calendar.

Obviously the "learning opportunity" skated right by "behavior modification". Hope they hang his *** and make him serve time for each warrant consecutively.
