J2911 : Lowest form of misdemeanor yes, however you can get a class C for way more than just a traffic ticket. Shoplifting under a certain amount ($500?), public intoxication, disorderly conduct, I think paraphernalia- just to name a few but there are more. 15 is a lot.

J2911 : Oh I totally agree. If he's in Harris he'll get a slap on the wrist. Montgomery County (parts of KW are), there's a good chance he'll sit for a while. May the odds be ever in his favor.
