Take pictures NOW, before they rip up your yard. Also get pictures of them, their trucks and their license plates. As a practical matter, they are the ones that will bear the brunt of any liability.
Has anyone noticed that Comcast sucked out good soil and replaced it with sand? I would think they would replace the last 6" with top soil so grass would grow back. The sand has settled to about 5" below grade in places. I will be calling it in shortly.
Thanks

Thanks
Also, make sure you get "before" pictures of your driveway. Those hydrovac trucks weigh 22,000 pounds. Most driveways aren't built to handle that kind of weight. Most cars only weigh 2500 to 4200 pounds. So they exert roughly 5-10 more times pressure on your driveway. My neighbor had her drive torn up and they refused to pay for it based on a pre-existing crack that showed up in a Google Street View photo from Jan 2022.
Amazed at the difference between Tachus and Comcast construction practices. Tachus seemed very professional. Comcast, the exact opposite.
They make other companies money by cutting the lines.

BobRehak : someone with Comcast just came to my door to say they were digging in my back yard. I told them I did NOT want them in my yard period. I was then told, "we will definitely hit your gas line, I'm telling you now". Sounds like a threat to me!

They put a note on my door last week that said they would be working near our property on 10/31. I never saw them working in or near our yard. Does this mean they are finished and didn't need to access our back yard, or does it mean they can just show up at any time, and I have to keep my dog inside for weeks? We are on a corner lot and have a drainage canal in back of our property, so I am hoping they won't have to dig in our back yard. Tachus did not enter our yard when they installed their fiber.
XFinity has been working in my hood this week... that's totally unrelated to this Comcast stuff right?
