Los Cucos - like others have said, not the greatest food. But their green sauce is like heroin and I actually really like their flour tortillas. I think they have the best tortillas in Kingwood. Always plenty of parking and their bartenders are very friendly. Try eating at the bar for a change of pace. Rico's/Cilantro's - average food, but it's NEVER crowded. So if you're looking for a nice quiet lunch, this is the place. I've never had problems with the service.
apasito's - probably the best overall, but always crowded and tough to find parking. Agree with the comments about small tables. Kind of annoying if you don't get a booth. Plus you have to deal with the mall traffic. Beef fajitas are amazing, but their tortillas taste like grocery store tortillas. Very rubbery to me. I wish I could get their beef fajitas on Los Cucos tortillas! The Papasito's by my office is a little better. Chuy's - always crowded, but very good. Great margarita's and that ranch salsa dip.....my GOD. I love their chips, they are real thin so you can really taste the salsa more than the chip. Fun atmosphere. Chachi's - it's okay, not great but not horrible. Again, it's always tough to find parking (kind of a big deal with me...) Always crowded too and you feel like you're eating on top of each other. 4951
I like Los Cucos, mostly because they have alternate fair besides the normal tex-mex crap-o-la,and their chips and dip are really good. 4951
We really tried to like Rigo's but they cooked everything in the same grease
. Â When ordering a house margarita I told the waitress I didn't want one that was not frozen: she brings me one not frozen
. Food was substandard and we went their four times trying to give the a chance. Â Too many other Mexican restaurants that are better. 4951
