Yeah, I pulled up to the drive thru and asked if I needed to go in to get my free sandwich and the guy outside said no, I'll take care of it. I was shocked that they weren't busy. I pulled up and thought maybe they were closed. I'm used to seeing cars wrapped around the building to the point that I just say it's not even worth it. 🤷
I am not a CFA Fan..there, I said it. My son said the waffle fry process/oil was changed, and they do Not like the fries, any longer.
I hate it. We sat down at the one in Humble months ago and it felt like the company was trying to make it like a sit down restaurant. As if the owner wants us to tip the waiter. It was very off putting. My kid starting making their own version of a chicken sandwich at home and raves about how much better it is, and it's cheaper too.
Chick fila lake Houston location I was so confused when I walked in this morning. Apparently they did away with counter service you walk in and somebody takes your order or you go sit down and somebody takes your order so I was so confused and thrown off cause I'm used to the Kingwood locations and been doing this for 20+ years counter service. They said this location and the owner that owns the Lake Houston location and the other humble location does it this way. I was just thinking it was like blocked off, which basically it is, but I just had no idea what was going on.
I just don't understand people sitting in their cars in those long lines for fast food. Seems like such a waste of time.
Automation is better for businesses, when it comes to profits! Fewer employees, fewer managers, little or no need for employee insurance coverages, no problem with not having staff available. It all goes to apps, kiosks, and electronics, and the owner Keeps more of his money. I think Good Customer Service by a Human, will be less and less, as years go by, and eventually, there Might be 1 human in a place, and that is It.
When so many people just do not want to work- automation will work longer and harder. Sad but true.
Moving forward. Businesses having such a hard time finding people who want to work. Soon automation will take the place of all the people.
Hopefully all the handouts that were designed to be hand ups will be stopping soon. Lessons will be learned about hard work and good things coming to those who work hard and don't whine.
