You can buy kitty litter, put it in the can of paint, leave the top off, place it outside, and let it clump up...then you can toss it in the trash...that is, as long as it's latex...

I'd slowly feed it into the regular garbage pickup....If those wanting to restrict it's disposal don't provide convenient alternatives or solutions to dispose of it then what is the citizenry to do, collect it and "sit on it"?.....

I buy a bag of the cheapest cat litter. Stir some of the litter into the paint and leave the lid off, which will help it dry out faster.
Once it's dry you can throw it in the regular trash.I guess I was slow on the draw.

cnmmom82: The KHS or KP theater might take it. Then when you attend their latest production, you can tell everyone sitting around you that's my paint on the set. Seriously, give them a call, they might be in the market.

That is a great suggestion- I have been with the KPark Theater department for the last 6 years- and thank you for suggesting that....however this is super old paint, at least 8 years old and kinda gross rusted cans. Thanks again for thinking of our program!
