I honestly didn't know if it was still around. The highschool kids used to think it was funny to drive around there blasting music and yelling at top speed around thirty years ago. Part of the reason for the no trespassing signs.

Went down Dogwood ONCE thinking it would lead me into Royal Brook....it was a creepy as heck with loads of loose dogs and the feeling people watching you but you can't see them....

I thought I remembered it was far older than Kingwood. Looks like houses were there starting in the 1930s and 40s.

Lizvac : It's been around longer than Kingwood if I remember correctly. Some folks didn't sell the land they had. I don't know if anyone remembers the little cabin out in front of Forest Cove as well. There used to be a full drag strip where part of Kings Manor is now way back when.

@SetecAstronomy : I think I remember the cabin but I don't remember the drag strip.
