The Café has been a fine venue to meet friends and business associates, as well as special occasions and romantic dinner dates. In nearly fourteen years of service, hundreds of groups have been hosted, such as corporate and local organization functions, for breakfasts, luncheons, dinners and entertainment. Café du Bois has been chosen to host countless celebrations such as wedding, bridal and baby showers, as well as birthdays, anniversaries and far too many others to mention.This notable Kingwood restaurant began as a specialty cheese shop in Kingwood's Town Center 14 years ago, and went on to evolve into a French restaurant, then to a gourmet fine dining venue with menus filled with varieties of Continental and International cuisines, in its last years of operation. Diners from Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita and surrounding communities visited this establishment for delicious and modestly priced gourmet dishes and wines, in a quiet, relaxed and romantic ambience, with live easy listening music two and three nights a week. Many wonderful evenings were spent on the famous outdoor "patio on the park," taking us to places so reminiscent of the sidewalk cafes of Europe . . .  dining al fresco, sipping wine and laughing with friends. Thanks to Executive Chef Arturo Escobar for his years of service and over the top gourmet creations served to the Cafe's patrons. Thanks to our servers, the best in the Kingwood area, and kitchen support staff.
