Kemibe : I just upgraded my iPhone 7 ( my apps stopped working correctly ) to the 14+.
The swiping thing took some getting used to, but now I am glad I did it. Much better than my 7.

That's funny you mention that because i just told my wife being that I'm retired now i don't need my phone anymore.

My dad had the iPhone 5s until TMobile stopped supporting it. I used it yesterday to hook up to my HomePod to play music off YouTube. The music pauses when I use my own phone when I get text messages, which is annoying and doesn't happen with my dad's old 5s. I also used it for FaceTime to watch my dad when I was cooking. Even though it doesn't have a SIM card, it still works to send text messages via iMessage in a pinch if my phone is dead, I just have to remember to tell whoever I'm texting it's me, not the ghost of my dad, lol. I don't update apps until the app forces me to by rerouting to App Store.
