Yes I agree about the battery. I have to charge my phone every day. When I get home from school it's less than 10% charged.
funny how we NEED cellphones now. I think when I retire I'll cancel my service and toss the phone in the trash
That is another issue I just started to experience. I couldn't update the Costco app because my phone doesn't have the IOS needed. Like really?
I had to buy a new IPhone this morning, Ugh! My other one blitzed out and froze up on me. I got an upgrade but still out of pocket for the accessories, updated data plan. I can't catch a break sometimes. I was home last night and today until my phone just froze up on me. $160 later, I'm home with a new phone and everything is fine now. Oh., my bill is going to be higher monthly too.
A few monthsago I upgraded from an iPhone 8 to a 14. T-mobile at Costco had a great deal. We switched from Verizon to T-mobile, saved on monthly fees, got a free iPhone, and have had no problems with T-mobile.
For real ease a very good smart phone is the Jitterbug Lively Smartphone 4 from Best Buy. Hubs has it and it is so easy and has a very large screen. Talk, text and data for internet. He loves it and it is great for just talking, texting, but you can do email and surfing the net.
I have spent months dealing with my phone. Misplaced my password book and Apple is so hard to get help from. Don't ever lose your Apple password because you can never reset it no matter what Apple tells you what you have to do. Taking it in to get a new phone today. Everything will be wiped out but I'm so over trying to deal with those people. Very frustrating.

The latest model is the 15. That is what I got when I replaced my 8. I wanted to get that one so I would have it for years. I had problems getting use to it.
I know it is frustrating, but you can't be with out it. Sounds like you got your moneys worth out of it. I know new phones are expensive, but I look at them differently than most people. With all of the things they do now days which make life easier and more efficient, I think it is money well spent, plus they usually last several years.
