ceamommy: do you all remember Grandys in humble ? My ex was a manager there and we talked about it when I saw him . They had the biggest best cinnamon rolls !

ceamommy : The store I would love to have again is Steinmart and the restaurant would be Steak & Ale in Humble.
Kittle : I loved the Kensington Club steak and the Hawaiian Chicken from Steak and Ale.
grinchy : Yes! Those two were my favorites. I have a copycat recipe for the chicken but not for the Kensington steak. It was the best!

My garbage disposal that thankfully still works nicely, came from that small Sears where Aldis is located now. That was convenience! Do you remember that Sears store ?
Cstomio123 : Yes, I remember and it was convenient. My Dad worked there part time for a while after he retired from his career, and got some good discounts on certain products. Sears was a very reliable store for appliances. « Back to Chat
