I have lived here for years and have tried all kinds of places.... now here is my opinon.... I dont know where you are living, but you really have to just try them.there are not really any good down home mom and pop places,,, hate to say those lovers out there,, but the Humble Inn and the Humble Cafe,,, are really no that good. They are over prices for the food. If you want good food for a cheap price,, here are my choices... I think breakfast should be cheap anyway...Kingwood - The cracker Barrell /// Kingwood Bagle (town center)Porter - Hot BiscutHumble - Chedders (by academy sports) // Arandas Mexican // 4951
I agree - if it's a mom and pop type diner you're looking for, I think Humble Inn is best. Their biscuits and gravy is better than anyplace around here. I don't think that Hot Spot has their gravy quite right. In all fairness, I don't think I've ever had breakfast at Humble Cafe so it might be worth a try.Â

Retired Engineer, Humble Inn is now non-smoking but, I can still smell it each time the door closes so it might be a good idea to sit in the back room if it bothers you. 4951

Went into hot biscuit once, waited 15 minutes and no one came by to take our order. Walked out and never went back. 4951
Furr's off of 45 in spring is great for weekend breakfasts! But my favorites will always be Tita's for a casual breakfast & Los Cucos brunch in KW for something nicer. 4951
