LittleTexas : So her blood work and her x rays are okay thank God. They think she hurt her back and either pulled a muscle or has a disc problem. They gave her medicine so she can sleep and rest over the weekend, and kind of see after that how she's doing. Thank you for asking. I wanted to update but I couldn't find the original post for some reason.
Kaylagirl : She's still pretty sick. I think we have almost had her 3 weeks and on our 7th vet visit.

Kaylagirl : my sister's older chihuahua just did the same thing; he is 11, and they are not sure how he did pulled the muscle in his back; probably running From a squirrel he was terrorizing. We Keep trying to tell him that those squirrels will Not put up with his bullying; he is Not that much larger than They are. They called his bluff! She said he has been sleeping a lot due to the meds they gave him, too, and she has put the heating pad on him, on low, for about 30 or 40 minutes a day, which seems to have helped. Hope your neighbor pup is better, soon, too.

LittleTexas : Aww.... poor little Chi. Hope he gets well soon. Yeah, we had a squirrel try to attack my cat. When I was letting them eat some leftover pumpkins a couple of years ago. She must have been pregnant or something. She wouldn't let any other squirrels or my cat get near and ate like crazy.
