ZMAN : I thought I was the only one that likes Chili's burgers. I want my bun toasted extreme but not black and they are the only ones that does it. I just tell them if they don't I am sending it back. I like the 3 for $10.99 menu for a reasonable food out that isn't drive thru. 4951

Lizvac : Yes, the food is very good! It is a very laid back place. Don't expect to get in and out fast. Go when you have a little time. When you get a burger you can get any combination of sides at no extra charge. I love to get a combination of fried okra, onion rings, and French fries. I also like the sweet potato fries. If you like jalapeno get a side of fried jalapenos to put on your burger. There will be enough to share with others at your table. You can take your own bottle of wine or liquor for mixed drinks. I like sitting out on the patio. For this time of the year they close the doors and have heaters set up. They are closed from 2 to 4 each day. 4951

The best burgers in KW are Pete's, Bill's and believe it or not J. Christophers. 4951

Rocklady2020 : We have never tried the steaks but they look fantastic. The steak they have that is for 2 looks like it would feed 4 of us with leftovers. Next time we go there I'm gonna try to convince the others to try it. 4951

billcherie2 : Give Zammitti's a try. One may not expect a good burger at an Italian restaurant, but their's are great and - in my opinion, rival Hippo Burgers & Bills. Haven't tried J Christopher's yet 4951

SwaggyG : don't put me in that group......I tried the one in Atascocita and didn't think much of it. Plus my wife who has a great sense of smell picked up wiff of mold from the soda machine. I tried L&H cafe in Porter based on a thread there and thought it was way better, although I got stale fries. Dirty, Juicy Burgers in Humble is also better IMO 4951

FreebyrdII : For me local is anything between 59 and the back of Kingwood and between Hamblen and Northpark. We try to stay within those perimeters in order to support local businesses.My edit. Also, any business before the bridge on WLHP. 4951
