ZMAN : Sure, and I agree it is a lot. When we moved to our current village we were told that Best Trash was our trash provider, and I haven't seen anyone around us use Waste Services. I'm not sure how much of a hassle it would be to try and switch to COH, and if our HOA would have a problem with it.

cbear : Paid for by your tax dollars. That's why anyone in KW is eligible except the HOA can decide to get a stipend from COH for NOT using them. Then the HOA hire a private trash company and you pay extra for that private pick up.

ZMAN : COH trash is not the best alternative. They no longer pick up heavy trash and have 1 time a week pick up. Anything COH does is never done. Our medians should be maintained by COH and those are only mowed every 6 weeks and the villages have to pay to mow those. Best Trash picks up 2X a week and takes heavy trash and recycles.

Aggie89 : Elm Grove and other subdivisions do use their trash services bc the HOA's elected to do so. I think they actually ASKED residents to vote on it. « Back to Chat
