Best trash rate increase

I always thought that was a stupid name....Better would be "Trashiest"....

Jamescook : The problems are great with 1 time a week garbage pick up~~~ flies flies and more flies! The city would tell you to freeze your garbage to prevent it. It's great you only require 1 day a week pick up but if you live in a family oriented neighborhood your neighbors have more trash then that.

Be careful what you wish for. I never hear any praises on the city service.

luannski : Yes, You only get large/brush pick up 4 times a year and you have to call them and ask them to pick it up. I wonder how long it will take them to decide they want you to pay a fee for those pick ups. I think everyone in this situation should team up with their neighbors so there will be 3 households and assign a different household as having the pile in front of their house each month. You would only have the pile in front of your house 4 times a year. Everyone from the 3 households could add to the pile. Then you would have the opportunity to have bulky items picked up 12 times a year.

I am in Greentree village. Not sure why we're all paying different prices, but worth understanding!
I believe we're all starting the trash service at a different price and then the price increases every quarter, without any explanation.
