asasolid2r : For panhandling? No they don't. If they're doing something else like impeding traffic or the property manager has asked them to leave and they won't or maybe they've got an active warrant then they will, but they don't take them simply for panhandling.

Heathur : I wasn't referring to the panhandlers more the outstanding warrant crowd.

You are correct. Back in 2004 my best friend was killed by a drunk driver at 494 and NP. No one notified his family as the 3 LEOs HPD,DPS, and MOCO thought that the others did. Luckily it did not effect the thoroughness of the investigation and were able to get an intox manslaughter conviction. Sentenced to 6 yrs. Paroled after 3, picked up a DWI within 6 months of being out on parole and had to go back and serve the rest. Guess some folks don't even learn the lesson the hard way. If killing someone doesn't get you to stop drinking and driving I doubt anything will.
