Since Brat made those beautiful empanadas, it made me think of Dona Maria's, in Humble. They have great food, including arepas, tostones and empanadas,all Venezuelan style. Super nice people that make all the food and own it! gonna head there for lunch and get an arepa with chicken salad and avocado. They also have Cuban sandwiches! Theyre on 1st Street, in Humble.

FatCop : I am now thinking I am may get an Arepa Pabellon; the one with platanos and black beans! It's always a dilemma to Decide, when I go there. So much good ,home made food.

LittleTexas : Will u deliver 😀 dang I miss working at the plant. They brought the best foods from Venezuela, Guatemala, Argentina and of course Mexico. The pot lucks were the best foods!!!

Sisyphus : I wish they could afford a spot that was a little more mainstream; they would be a great addition to the HEB Center at 59 and NP, or in Valley Ranch, where there are open spots, but I know the rent is very high, in locations like that. They have good breakfasts, too; good value/good food.

Txbutterfly : I am a BIG potluck fan; when you have co workers from other countries, they are at Another level. I bring lasagna, as a Tex-Italian, and they bring Mac Salad( Hawaii), Rice dishes ( Phillipines), and all of the great Mexican dishes, to share! Not to mention the home made coconut cake from Brazil that one lady makes.
sweetie : Di Maria in KW Is good. But this is a Venezuelan spot that is in "Old Humble" kind of near the pawn shop, and in a small strip center, towards the back of that strip. There is a sign at the street, just watch for it. 1315 1st Street E

Sisyphus : The Grand Texas Food Zone in New Caney is my favorite; nice spot, and So many good options. I like the pupusa spot, there. I do like the salsas at Dona Maria, tambien. Que Rico!
