Apartment fire in Kingwood. Fire at the Mustang Apts on Lake

My guess is electrical. They used to do a shoddy job on everything and the ACs were recently replaced.

Txbutterfly : previous fire was in adjacent building.

KingwoodNana : place is well over 40 years and needs many upgrades both aesthetically, structurally and building code wise at least into the 21st century.

teatime : I just recently moved out after 8 years, they have been upgrading sparodically over the last year as people moved out but it may be too little too late.

They supposedly did foundation repair, roof repair, and replaced old ACs last year. I moved out soon after the new management took over. I didn't have roaches for the most part, but when new management took over, I started seeing some. They should have keep the same pest control company.

The people that lived above me in the building that was on fire were elderly. I feel so bad for them and others that were effected.
