Where I live you have to have your own trash cans.

Texasdad : The trash service you/we get is what is agreed upon with the village HOA. There is no choice.

Nuisance : My favorite bit is that we pay for trash service that doesn't meet the guidelines layed out in the HoA bylaws. So not only do we pay more, its garbage(pun intended) service.

frebu : We have no problems with our trash service. They even come up to the garage door to get the trash. I know we pay for the service and I could do without it but we have no choice. Recycling goes by the curb though.

Interesting read. We have COH service. Our can was crushed by the truck this week during the dumping process, and can't be rolled. A new one has been requested, so we'll see how long it takes.
