Anyone see the Swamp Donkey dude got arrested?

I just saw that Swamp Donkey's is selling crawfish for $14.99 PER POUND! I was expecting higher prices this season but that's basically double the price from last year.

@ssc29 : Usually late Jan/ early Feb for the small ones. We had our first crawfish last year the first week of January. Havent had any yet this year but most places aren't selling yet and I'm for sure not paying $14.99/lb. Last year they were $7.99-$8.99 per lb depending on the place. Some places would have specials like 5 lbs for $30. DH & I get crawfish at least once a week during season.

Heathur : For real!! I may go 7 or 8 a pound early in the season but I don't like it

Wooderson : What are your other go-to spots? We like Overalls, like Mudbugs, I think Crawfish Shack is super good but overrated (I'm not waiting 45 min for bugs lol). Crawfish Kings was just aight but not enough flavor.

Overall Seafood has great crawfish.

ZMAN : $10-$12/lb is the most I'm willing to spend but I just can't morally do $15. That's insane.
