Anyone live in a 1 bedroom townhome at The Oaks of Kingwood? If

Years ago, I remember calling the utilities to inquire for a block of apt. Wonder if that is still doable.

have her ask the staff there, and see if any of them live there, as usually the staff gets a discount, so someone does, and can give her ballpark info. As other have said, it will vary depending on how many live there, lifestyle, etc.

Are those the one by the police station. If so, I always thought it was a quiet and small complex to live and close to everything especially the police. Good luck with her new place.

We lived there when our home was being built in KW; it is a quiet spot, not on the main road, which is good,and spacious apts. My son lived in a KW apt after college, used floor fans; turned his a/c to 77 when he left for the day, turned the fans ( floor and ceiling) on when gone to work, and when he got home, bumped the a/c down 3 notches, and it was cool again, with little cost. In the nice months, like October, he turned the system off,and slept with the 2nd story windows open ( would not do this on the first floor, for safety) His power bills amortized to about $44 a month, this was 4 years ago. Might be closer to $55 if you use the dishwasher, etc more. The heat quickly warmed the entire apt in the cold months, so he shut it off, and wore a cozy sweatshirt, and was comfortable. There are easy ways to keep your bill down, in an apartment Is she going to have room mates, or live alone; it will be a reasonable bill to split.
