Does anyone know whether anyone is organizing any kind of vigil

lynnie0524 : There's a huge difference between what you see online and what you experience with people in person. It will be a safe event, and there will be security - even among the good guys present not wearing uniforms. You can do it. Go for it.

I really don't have the ability to plan something myself. I appreciate the vote of confidence, but I just wanted to know if anyone knew of anything already planned.

Vigils were held the 11th & 12th at the University of Houston, Texas A&M, and Sam Houston State University. It wouldn't surprise me if they continued through the weekend. Something to look into if you're truly interested. They have Turning Point USA chapters.

There's in happening on the 18th in Huntsville, one happening on the 20th in downtown Houston. Gotta love the internet.

My heart goes out to the college students in Turning Point USA chapters right now. I imagine many of them really looked up to Charlie. Yes they're adults but they're still very young, some even still teenagers. We may not all see Kirk the same way or agree with him but I remember when Selena Quintanilla was killed while I was in 2nd grade and how I attended a vigil for her. I know that's much younger but I still felt like I had lost a hero of mine. I imagine they might be dealing with similar feelings and that makes me sad for them.

Does anyone know whether anyone is organizing any kind of vigil for Charlie Kirk in Kingwood? Please, no hate or lectures. Just answer my question. Someone in the facebook group (that apparently can't be named here?) had tried to bring it up and organize one but the haters attacked her (oh, the irony!) and got her post shut down. I would simply like to attend something if anyone knows of where one is being held locally, and when. Thanks.
