Leave Jagger alone!! Just leave him alone!! Don't y'all have something to do and y'all need to get a life!!! Leave that child alone!!! Stop bullying him. **** happened! He felt bad and he sure does. Stop it. Just stop it !!!!!

Emilio11 :
It would be completely different if he was not driving drunk and simply had an accident. The driving drunk , at 17 years old mind you, changes everything. So go away with your " leave him alone" ********. 4951

From the article, "Tina and Nico Robinson filed the lawsuit Aug. 28 against Jaggar Clayton Smith's guardian Shelly Smith and Handi Stop Employee Gumaro Munoz Campos in connection with the death of their daughter Chloe Robinson.

They are suing the Campos and the Smith families in addition to the gas station for past and future pecurinary loss, past and future loss of companionship and society, past and future mental anguish and the loss of inheritence."

I honestly don't know how I feel about this. 4951

And I'm guessing we have Jagger's dad here now?

@IzzysMommy : Couldn't be, right?? What rational adult would refer to the death of two girls as "**** happened?" That's messed up. 4951

sammee : A parent who wants their kid to not be held accountable for their actions?

@IzzysMommy : Okay -- playing devil's advocate here for a second, so don't hurt me. LOL

"Held accountable" -- what exactly is that? Being sued for a million dollars? Spending an appropriate amount of time in prison? Having one's life ruined FOREVER due to a stupid and tragic decision?

I guess now that I have kids who are in this age range, I have a lot of compassion for young people who make life-altering decisions, ones that have the potential to ruin their lives forever and possibly lead to addictions and suicide. I'm not making any excuses, just compassion as I'm not sure what the truly RIGHT thing is to do.

My husband had a young cousin who had an underage girlfriend. He was 18 or 19, she was 17. They had sex, her dad found out, and the young man spent years in a hard-core prison. He has NEVER been the same and has struggled with addictions and in every other way possible. That father felt he was doing the RIGHT thing and felt justified. I'm sure he felt he was holding the boy accountable. 4951

HollyHobby : It's tough, and having kids in that age range, I understand exactly what you are saying. We all made dumb decisions at that age, some dumber than others and with bigger consequences. 4951

This is the worst type of post. Hes a young man living with the consequences of an awful, terrible, horrific decision. He is facing a jail sentence. The courts of Houston move slowly, thats not really a newsflash. Does that answer your question sufficiently? Or would you rather we sit around online & crucify him over our morning coffee. KDC should exist for neighbors helping neighbors, not stirring up heartache. There was nothing productive about bringing this up today. 4951

buffaloglenn :
But when someone dies, the guilty party needs to pay. Otherwise, all you have to do is say " I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it". All of the sorries don't bring the victims back. 4951
