Why dont you buy dash cams for your cars.

van3610 : I was just looking at front and rear cameras for my car. Trust me when I say your insurance would run down those tags and that driver would be in jail before sunup for hit &run. The DA would release him of course, but if he has insurance your company will get it on your behalf.

LizBeth91 : I use my old iPhone 5s as dashcam, bought an iPhone windshield mount from Amazon, put the phone in side way, and boom I have a wide angle dashcam.
