Does anyone have experience with the Pain Management offered at MD Anderson? I have had severe bone pain ever since I had CAR T treatment in February 2024. My oncologist has recommended that I go to a pain management specialist. Just curious if anyone on KDC has used this and if it helped with their pain issues.

Gammyof2 : DW has an appointment tomorrow with pain management/palliative care/hospice tomorrow. The specialist is with Memorial Hermann/Texas Oncology. Regular pain management is no longer working. Make sure they listen to your needs, symptoms, concerns, etc. You are in our daily prayers dearest one. 🙏

Gammyof2 : I would imagen constant bone pain in not fun. I read a little about CAR T treatment and I am wondering how long pain should last after treatment has ended. I hope you are able to find a resolution for your pain. « Back to Chat
