Anyone else in Kings Point/Kingwood get a surprise "Green Post"?
Came home today to find a large hole and a tall green post installed on my property line right next to the trail. It appears to be a sewer vent pipe or utility marker, but there was no notice from the City of Houston. They also left a mound of dirt in my yard. Does anyone know:
- Exactly what these are for?
- If/when a restoration crew is coming back to level the ground and lay sod? I'm curious if anyone else on the trail has dealt with this recently and how long it took them to clean up the mess. THANK YOU for your insights (and comedy) that will surely follow.

Installation of porta potties for the walkers?
They provide access to the water mains for water quality testing. We received one too on our street in Bear Branch. Kind of an eyesore…

I saw that when I was at Mom's house in Hunters Ridge. Looked natural gas line related.
