Speed.. and not paying attention

My best friend was hit a week or two ago there. A woman ran the red light. Bestie had her two dogs with them and took them to the emergency vet to get checked out, messed up her own foot, totaled her car. Just a mess. Hope those people are okay.

Blame forest cove residence. Hamblen road was to be moved but they said no…..

Just a suggestion - put up billboards around the intersection of the accidents with big letters - CAUTION, YOU COULD BE THE NEXT VICTIM IF YOU KEEP SPEEDING AND/OR DON'T PAY ATTENTION.

Bennyfactors : That's terrible! With Kingwood Dr at 494 under construction, Hamblen is one of our alternate routes. We may need to rethink our alternatives.

@NWHNotary : I blame Dave Martin for not stepping in and adding the infrastructure to keep us safe…..like he did at HEB and Kingwood Dr…

billcherie2: What? So 4 cars wouldn't stop instead of one? I mean there are so many mangled car parts littering that 'intersection' and the weeds were recently mowed so visibility shouldn't be a problem. You really need to be careful gauging the speed of the cars on the feeder, especially during rush hour. It appears that's when these accidents are more prone to happen. It's obviously bad.

bigcity : Obvious solution is to make south bound 494 go up and over 59 and under the bridge to get to Hamblen and completely remove that sketchy stop sign crossover altogether!
