I read the other day where that she was going to challenge little Lina for the Harris County Judge position. I thought we'd seen the end of her after she screwed up COH as mayor. I don't know which one is worse, Parker or Hidalgo, but I'd probably have to say Hidalgo.

I hope Houstonians will remember what a disaster Parker was as mayor. I do every month when I read my COH water bill and see that drainage fee that she imposed.

CaffeineFree : You KNEW that I would take that bait!! Don't forget about the camera's she installed all over the city and the HUGE cost of that only to have them disconnected and they are no longer in use. SMH.

PanAmBlue : I liked Ed Emmett. Except that he wouldn't let go of the thought of preserving the Astrodome, despite the voters of Harris County's overwhelming opposition to this. I think that's what led to his defeat when he ran for reelection.
CaffeineFree : I thought it was because the ballot was so long and the county judge was the last thing on the ballot in addition the gop thought his reelection was certain so they spent next to nothing
PanAmBlue CaffeineFree : I think what did Emmet in was straight party voting. That is why so many incompetents in either party were elected when that was allowed, and now they get re-elected because of name recognition.
