Trump always inflates numbers but I imagine if people knew how many illegals voted they would be stunned or, just look the other way depending what side they were on.Thing is nobody really knows how many illegals are in the country. The numbers are based on projections, not actual people. Really just guesstimates based on very limited data. Nobody knows and nobody knows the level of voter fraud but a good start would be sampling 10% of counties where the highest concentration of illegals are located. Do that and it will reveal what is likely under the surface.   4951

Sec'y Spicer's press briefing today was full of news about the 5 executive orders, the meetings, the progress that is being made, the confirmations, business issues and then there were a few bad apples in the group who wanted to ask over and over about a comment Trump said in passing about illegal votes.  The best thing you can do if you want to be informed, whether liberal or conservative, is to watch the press briefings and get the real scoop about what exactly has been done, signed, accomplished, brought forward and what's next for the president.  You can get the real answers about the antagonistic questions without then having to endure some scathing and biased article written by a hack whose only goal is to smear the President. 4951

beastmode@BooBearYesterday President Trump told Republican congressional leaders that 3 to 5 million illegal votes were cast in the election he won.  Today the White House press secretaryconfirmed that is the official stance of the President based on evidence he, the President has.  In my mind, that means the election was so vitiated as to make it potentially invalid. That is a higher rate of fraud than Tammany Hall and Richard J. Daley could ever muster.  Investigations are in order to protect the integrity of future elections. Well when Obama tells the Spanish interviewer his word to the illegals is go ahead and vote. He said no one is going to come find them and deport them. Dems said their was only confirmation of 4 voter fraud and one lady voted twice for Trump. These are the same people who said if you like your Dr you can keep your Dr. 4951

Also, in Detroit, poll workers were inserting the manual ballots for Hillary over and over and over again. There were more votes cast in Detroit than there were registered voters. That is a fact. There was definitely voter fraud, but it matters not because Trump won the election with 306 electoral votes. The fat lady sang. No matter what side we are on; most of us get that Trump needs everyone to like him. He will not let this go because he will never change on that front. If he wants to investigate how many illegal votes there were then he needs to tell the American public how much it will cost to find out and get our feedback on whether we want to spend that kind of money. It may not even be doable -- Beastmode has already referenced the difficulty of such an endeavor. If he is worried about illegal immigration then he needs to focus on fixing it, not still talking about the election. 4951

mulmye: I think it's a non-issue. I also think the reporters wasting questions in the press briefing were looking for something to use to beat the president over the head. I want the president to spend zero time on that issue, zero time on pursuing Hillary, zero time on non-issues. The election happened in November. I want him to get on with the business at hand. @Veritas: Sean Spicer said that it was just a comment in passing, not something Donald Trump was bringing up for resolution. It's just like when The Dems were demanding a recount and then the recount just resulted in more Trump votes and less Hillary votes. It was unnecessary to go to all that trouble and expense.
