Heathur : I deserve protection just as much as anyone else. I know they do not break their backs solving the little cases even when they have all the evidence dropped into their laps. It has happened to me. Me stating the fact does not make me less worthy of their protection.

Theft The $25 Starbucks card that I won was stolen from my home along with jewelry, small new appliances, novelties, vintage clothes, new shoes, computer, etc, valued around $5K. I wonder if the Starbucks card had a number to trace. For the lady who compared previous thefts to that of fake William, I met a builder in Kingwood who had thousands $$$$ stolen, too & the police do NOTHING about it. If I would caution anyone who is moving to Kingwood. I would tell them to be prepared not to depend on the police but to be able to handle things on their own. Annexation in 96 was a terrible mistake!
LandCExp : I'm sorry you were broken into and stuff stolen. I'm sure you don't expect Joe or anyone else to replace it for you. I doubt very much whether it can be tracked unless you have the receipt.

Heathur : Yes. They don't waste any time on the little stuff. Oh and BTW, They don't solve every big case.

Heathur : I agree with this. Hpd has too many priorities. An individual law enforcement could focus on said area.
TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Last time we called there was a someone trying to scale our fence until we put the flashlight on him, went called the KW Div. of HPD arrived about 2 1/2 hours later and the cops told us that they did not see anyone. I said, "No s##t what did you think that they were going to do, wait for you"? Hopefully never will need them again. Lazy.
UptownGirl : WOW! That was too long! I'm glad you took it into your own hands and the person left. Before annexation I had to call the police. The dog started growling at the front door and when I looked I could see/hear someone was messing with the lock. Suddenly, the dog ran to the back door and growled again. I called the police and within minutes there were 6 police cars in my cul-de-sac. They were a great bunch of guys. They searched my backyard, garage, and even made sure the cars were all locked. They even told me to lock my garage door at night. LOL, Those were the good old days!
