14 Panera Breads Closed!:(

Location is not convenient for us. Been to a Panera a few times and it was always delicious.

In the beginning, I liked It. This last year or so, it hasn't been good. It's sad about people who lose their jobs, but it's usually because the food isn't good.

I never understood the appeal. The food always looked good, but to me it was tasteless.

Love their cinnamon crunch bagels.

I always liked their banana nut ones. went in for one, and the girls said they did not have them, as bananas are 'seasonal'. Hrghhhh? I was highly perplexed, but got one of the cinnamon crunch ones, and enjoyed it, too :D

ZMAN : Me too! Good riddance to a company that tried to advertise they had healthy choices. The claimed the Fiji apple salad was clean and full of healthy ingredients but it full of sugar and other processed ingredients. The worst one I was in was in Easton, PA. While waiting on a to go order the lady mopping the floor took the same mop and cleaned the tables. I cancelled my order and left.

I make that salad at home now, as you can buy their dressing at Kroger. I just used a touch of the Fuji Apple dressing, with my own oil and vinegar mix. Fresh apple, avocado, feta cheese, and other veggies, and you are so right; Much less sugar, more fiber and vitamins, and much better value, when made at home.

Didn't they recently have an issue w/ a highly caffeinated beverage? Not what I would expected from the Panera vibe.

Sounds like it was the Cafes who weren't paying their bills, & Panera cut them off in February 2025, but they kept operating illegally.😵‍💫
