For me it's an opportunity to thank the staff, teachers, principals and Mr Curl.
ZMAN : Go. You don't have to talk. You get to see your shining star amongst all her classmates. You're gonna turn around and see her graduating HS. It happens so fast. She will always remember that you were there for her.
100 Men at KMS First day of school. www.humbleisd.net/o/ kms/article/2246953 I just read a communication from KMS that on the first day of school they want to subject our students to a 100 strangers upon entry to the school. As if the first day of school isn't stressful enough for these poor kids already. Also, why just men? I don't understand anything about this. The email mentions boys and men several times. It's also inviting any "Men" from the community to the school. I hope that doesn't mean men that don't have students there. Do they not realize it's the first day of school for the GIRLS as well? I'm sure a bunch of teenage girls will just love being greeted on their first day of school by 100 strange men. Who came up with this? What a mess. The whole thing seems ill conceived. We sent a message to the principal but haven't received a satisfactory response. If y'all think this as weird as I do, Hopefully some of you can mail about this as well. ZMAN : It's definitely weird and uncomfortable. They are probably trying to implement a type of 'Watch Dogs' thing. To my knowledge, everyone has to go through a back ground check through the district. In any case, it's still a bit unsettling.
eighteen : Background checks are like Bluebot and the 3 monkeys If you don,'t tell it beforehand, at doesn't see, hear, or speak.
Sisyphus : I'm not understanding what you're saying, exactly. However, I do know the district uses a system called Raptor. You have to provide your full legal name, SSN, and DOB. I also know it's run weekly for any red flags.
