10 Year Old Runs Stop Sign on Electric Scooter.

Good Lord we had rock fights every day. I had a mini bike and road to baseball practice every evening. I'm 64... good grief.

U are driving ...get off your phone and pay attention. Quit blaming kids for being kids.

kingwooddiscgolf : Sorry, it's not just kids being kids. We're about the same age; don't know about you but we were taught traffic rules and vehicles had the right of way. We didn't ride our bikes down the middle of a busy street 4 riders across. We obeyed the traffic signs because we knew what a car could do to us. This day and age there is a lot more traffic on the roads and yes a lot more distracted drivers and distracted kids.

I was leaving work last week when a girl on an e-scooter just rode right out in front of into the parking lot. She didn't even look up until she was almost past my car. The look of shock on her face was fairly satisfying. I hope she learned from it, though I doubt it. I always drive very slowly in the center because there are lots of kids not paying attetion, Dominos drivers hauling ***, teens really hauling ***, etc.

Happens all the time in our neighborhood. Seen one the other day. Two people on it. The one in back looked like he had a choke on the driver and was holding fishing rods that were sticking out sideways as they flew down the street ignoring any stop signs they encountered.

The parents of the 10 yr old should be cited with injury to a child, the leo who are doing nothing about the kids on atvs should turn in their badges!

kingwooddiscgolf: the child ran the stop sign, and never looked either way when crossing the road. She ran into the lanes of active traffic; clearly her fault, but mostly because she is not mature enough to be driving in traffic, this way.
