Where do you go to get your eyebrows waxed? I need someone who does not wax above the brow, but tweezes that area. I've tired European Wax Center twice, but wasn't impressed with the shape they gave me. It almost made me look like an angry man with straight across brows. I tried Aveda and they also butchered my brows. My eyebrows used to be on point, but my lady moved out of state and I can't find anyone as talented as her. :/ 4951

@GoTfan:

Try threading. I never knew of a place that offered this service in KW. I feel like threading is much more precise than waxing... but it does not take as long as tweezing. I go to Roula’s Nail Spa (don’t let the name scare you. It is more like a spa place, NOT just a regular nail place). It is in the River Oaks area, though. I see a lady named Fari and have been going to her for over 10 years. She’s the best. You might want to let your brows grow-in a bit before you go. I haven’t been in about a year because I really want to try the micro blading thing with my brows and I keep putting it off. Some places have appointments booked months away, too. (Roula’s Nail Spa does not have that service, fyi). 4951

I was totally going to say threading. My wife does mine to ensure I maintain 2 separate brows, lol, it’s quick painless and always looks great. 4951

That’s awesome! I have no idea how it’s done other than some twisting, and I think she has a string in her mouth to make a triangle... my eyes are always closed during. Ha!

 Me too!!  Threading is the way to go.. Better results. But I find depending on who does it,,, it can hurt a bit more than waxing. But results are what matter!! 4951

@GoTfan: Why not do it youself? Go to Sally's by Stein Mart get  the Sally Hansen Microwavable Eyebrow, Face & Lip Wax. It takes no time to do it!

Yeah, tried this before and it didn't work out too well. I need someone with more skill than me when we are talking about the symmetry of my face.  4951

There is a place on North Park coming into Kingwood before you get to the flower shop.  I took my DD there to have hers done and she did a pretty good job.  DD said it hurt but not as much as wax.  The lady told me the thread is a bit thicker than regular thread so it doesn't break as much.  I can't remember the name of the place but it's in front of the storage place in the shopping center with a nail salon and I think some kind of gym or personal training.  If you get to the flower shop you went to far. 4951
