I don't raise it therfore I don't need to touch it....  Let the men touch it, they don't wash their hands anyway !!!
 I agree fully. I also don't raise it and therefore don't need to touch it. Let the women touch it. If they need to touch it they can clean it and wash their hands.

I usually walk out of the house to take a leak so the whole toilet lid thing being left up isnt an issue at my house. The walking outside to take a leak deal was an issue at first but she got used to it after time.

@Turtle II: Yeah, my wife freaked out the first time I pee'd in the back yard.  Of course, we were in a brand new section and there were no neighbors around.  I grew up in a rural area and it was common. I'm glad my wife doesn't make an issue about toilet seats.  In return, I try to remember to put it down.  If she did make it an issue of it, I'd just leave it down and try to hit the hole.

Lucky the woman who marries a "sitter."   One of my friends told me her DH is a sitter.  She never has to worry about the seat being left up because it's never raised.  Emoticon   Who knew?!

geez, lighten up people.  she was just stating a turn off and venting.  too each their own.  i'm sure all of us have some pretty quirky turn offs.  i for one don't like men who drive cars! Emoticon
@aggiebutterfly:

Hehe, I don't care for guys that, no, let me rephrase, Its a turnoff when I discover a guy drives a Honda! Civic especially. I dont know what it is, but I just feel that unless you are still in High School, a grown man should not be driving a civic...if you must drive a car, drive a NICE one...Hondas (small hondas) and small trucks (like the S10) - I just don't care for. lol.
BUT,  I wont NOT talk to someone because they drive one on these (not a complete deal breaker)...I just prefer a man that has a nice TRUCK. hence, my man! hehe. 4951

It's a good thing that in my house I trained the girls to not care about the toitel seat. If it is up, just put it down. I have never understood the big deal. In my house we never even talk about it. Everybody just puts the toilet seat where they need it. 4951

I accidentally walked in on an EX a few years back, he was sitting down...I even asked, "were you sitting down to pee?!?!" he said, "Yeah" - I just looked at him, baffled, then thought to myself, "well he does have a VERY SMALL *****, so that would make sense - he can't reach the toilet when standing" - bwhahaha - true story.
hehe. 4951
