Becky,  I can definitely understand your anger.  People drive like such buttheads and don't care about the other people they put at risk.  Because of that, we will probably always have large SUVs to drive our kids around in to try to be as safe as we can.  It stinks that now a days, I have to watch out for the other guy while also trying to be a safe driver.  People are always doing something else besides driving too.  I cannot beleive the percentage of people who are always on their phones while driving, putting on make-up, reading, etc.  One day my husband and I were stopped at a red and counted the number of people yakking on their cell phones while driving.  It was about 50%.  4951

Well, the common way of thinking here seems to be that they don't give a f*&^if you want to drive the speed limit. Even in residential areas like Kingwood. It is their right to drive as fast as they feel like. It is your problem if you are going 45 or 50 on Kingwood drive and there are cars in the other lane. You still have to move over. Even if you are going to make a left turn, get out of my way. I drive fast in my pickup truck. If I kill a mother and a baby in a stroller at an intersection, they shoulda looked.

Yesteday I was driving through a school zone and the guy behind me was practially pushing me. He got tired of waiting, changed lanes and passed me. Gave a me a nasty look. He had a radar detector. How very clever, Sir.

I understand if we are on the freeway and you have a car going 45 mph on the fast lane. That is actually dangerous. But even when I go about 10 mph over the limit, I get harrased. What is the big hurry? 10mph faster on 59 gets you about 2 minutes early from Kingwood to downtown. 4951

Thank you all for realizing where I am coming from. Such a sad society that we dont have to worry about consequences. I see this not only with drivers but also with parents, children, politicians, etc. Its a simple lesson of life. No matter what we do either good or bad there will always be a consequence. 4951

Sounds like the person was being an @ss but just a heads up, Each states laws are different but In some states if you post in public a persons license number associated with their vehicle and information you cant prove as being true you could be held liable. I do NOT know Texas laws completely on this but I wouldn't take chances myself unless you have video and proof of his/her dangerous actions. As far as I can tell in Texas, posting the # isnt the action they can get you for as much as what you wrote about the person. A Plate is a form of identity so its like saying  Mr **** drives like crap and cut me off and nearly killed me and my kid. Then if Mr**** lost his job because his boss read the forums and you cant prove Mr***** really did what he did you could be held liable for damages. Or if someone on the forums got Mr**** info and paid him a visit at home or threatened him in anyway....etc Thats just an example...there is no such Mr****....HA! 4951
