The head postal man at the Kingwood Postal Office is very rude and arrogant. About two years, a received a certified mail receipt on my door. So I went to the Kingwood Post Office. The African American head postal man was at the counter. I gave him my receipt. He went to the back to get this certified envelop from the Kingwood Association and went off on me " My co-worker tells me your car was in the driveway when she tried to deliver this" in a very rude way. "I was taking a shower and didn't hear a knock on my door" I said in the most polite way. He rolled his eyes at me and said "yeah right".
I signed for my letter and had to get out of there because I felt my blood pressure rising...and I would have gone postal on him if I didn't get out of there.

They need to fire the head postal man at the Kingwood Post Office. His termination would improve the culture, morale, and customer service at that post office. 4951

if the truth were told......you probably tried to push your wacky beliefs on the carrier, and that is why he refused to deliver.... 4951

Post office is no different than

DPS
VA
General Attorneys Office
City of Houston

Notice the trend...... They all hire $9/Hr people that dont care, most are straight hood. Most of them are lazy and dont have any work ethics but the places above are obligated to hire them so unfortunately it sucks for the public that has to deal with it. 4951

Actually I was very friendly and respectful to that head post office employee. I didn't engage in any small talk because I wanted to get my certified letter and leave to run some errands. I was patient.

So the rude, unprofessional remark caught me off guard. I was flabbergasted. I couldn't believe that such a negative person was permitted to work there. 4951

   Post office should be the least of your worries.  You are holding a certified letter from KSA. 4951

i usually go to the Humble post office or one of the shipping stores if i don't want to deal with a line.  The postal service should really consider closing Friday-Sunday to save money.  But the problem is it is union run so they won't let that happen.   4951

My mom has sent me 3 things in the mail that she paid extra so I would have to sign for them but everytime the mail lady just puts them in the mailbox cause she doesnt want to get her lazy butt out of her mail truck. It even has a big sticker on the enveloupe that says signature required. 4951

Dang, is anybody surprised that the customers service is less than stellar at the post office? I could see folks getting upset if service was poor at any private enterprise, but the post office? 4951

the Post Office on 1960 is down on the right side about 5 miles . I believe there is a gas station on the corner  but the people there are really nice & give very fast service.

@WJo: Really? Talk about female directions, geesh! EmoticonDown about 5 miles starting where? 5 miles from 59 is not the same as 5 miles from Atascocita. And the right heading east or west from the starting point? 4951

@FoFa:
My thoughts exactly.  There is no US Post Office on 1960 in Humble.  There is one on business 1960 close to HAAM on the "South" side of business 1960.  Is that the one you mean?  I hate when people give the vaguest directions in the world.  BTW, I am a female and always give detailed directions. 4951
