We're here now in the drive through. It's moving very slowly.

@HollyHobby:

I was wondering if they were open today - we might need an ice cream treat tonight.

This is great news, I've really been looking forward to never going there.

The Humble location closed over twenty years ago and nearly as long ago for the Porter one. What took so long to open one?! That being said DQ used to be about the cheapest fast food chain. Now it's nearly the most expensive :/

Now I really want either a dipped cone, or a Georgia Mud Fudge Blizzard.

The same....my diesel powered blizzard and burger were fantastic....!

I worked at DQ in 1981 in a small town out west!! Had a walk up window right on Main Street. We made all of the treats- dilly bars, buster bars, etc and they had to be an exact weight and the curl in the cone perfect!
Great times good memories!

@mdelaney07: I ate there yesterday.
It was packed.
Burger wasn't as good as I remembered it,
and looks nothing like the burger on the commercial.

@Humble Mommy:

The only way any of this food ever looks good in real life is if you are stoned and drunk out of your mind.

I can't imagine eating an actual meal there, but their ice cream is amazing. Blizzards absolutely OWN anything from Sonic or Culvers.

We actually walked there Monday. One of the benefits of living in Kings Mill. Drive thru line made a complete circle around the parking lot. LOL... 'merica!
