Seems a lot of my neighbors in the area are having their front lawns ripped out and new sod installed. I even saw a few had a sprinkler system installed too. Our front yard is very small and on a hill. I want to contact a reliable landscaping company for estimates on installing a sprinkler system and/or sodding depending on cost. Can you recommend a good company to call for estimates without getting raped on price? 4951

Best thing to do is to ask your neighbors that had their lawn sodded how they liked their company and pricing.Go with a reputtable company that is licensed and bonded. Good luck 4951

As I driven thru the area I have seen work done. Funny thing is I see pickup trucks all the time with trailers but no signs on the trucks....don't these guys advertise? 4951

We used this company for our sprinkler system and they were great. www.bluegrasstexas.c om/They are out of Kingwood (Forest Cove). Haven't used them for sodding, but it looks like something they do too. 4951

@elguapo No, you don't. But I'd rather do business with someone that actaully spent the time to get a business license than trying to do this as a side job or with someone that finds their employees somewhere on 494. 4951

@TexINS: Do it yourself that's the best price you will get.1 pallet full of sod is around $100.00. no license needed.

@elguapo DIY is the best way for general landscaping. But I'm not going to install a sprinkler system on my own. 4951

Depends on the size of the lot and the bushes, garden you have. Around $3000.
