Plastic thread (better than floss). see belowHome TreatmentsA doctor may remove a skin tag is through a process known as ligation. He will tie a small thread around the root of the skin tag, cutting off its blood supply and effectively killing it. This process can be attempted at home using a small piece of dental floss.Another possible treatment is cryotherapy, or freezing the skin tag to the point where it falls off. Although this is best performed by a doctor, there are over-the-counter cryotherapy options, such as Dr. Scholl's Wart Removal. Although primarily used for wart removal, they can have the same effect on skin tags. 4951

I am all about not feeling pain.

@Fallon: When you tie them off, you feel no pain.
After a few days they just fall off. 4951

Tying off anything so it will fall off my body

@Fallon: When a teenager, and working on farms, we would rubberband bull calf's, um, hangy downy things, and a week later they just fell off, making them a steer.
They seems to hate the capture worse than anything else.No blood, no muss, no fuss (other than catching them and wrestling them to the ground).I have had a couple tied off, and it is painless. 4951
