My wife and I havent had a bad fight for a while now. She stews on it usually and I tend to forget about it. I dont really have enought time to argue about something for multiple days, nor do I want to exeret the energy over it. I give her a few days until she gets over it, we talk and then move on. Most chicks like drama so they like it to last for a little while, men dont really care to argue with their spouse so they drop it and move on.

Well I definitely do not like drama, I just want to meet in the middle. Disagreements are inevitable. If a agree with him, we'll both be wrong! Haha 4951

Our BIG fight about 22 years ago, he locked me out of the house !!!  We had a little spat and I got dressed up to go out with my friends.. He got ticked becuase I go "too" dressed up so he locked the door (the xtra lock we never used and I did not have a key for).  When I got home I was so mad.. I banged and hollored, when the door was not opened I took off my high heel and put it throught the glass in the door, reached in unlocked it...   Went to the bedroom pulled to covers off his sorry butt and then gave him a piece of my mind !!!!   That was the only piece he got for awhile !!!!!  ha ha 4951

That makeup sex is going to be fantastic...........

@kingwooddiscgolf: I have been married 17 years and i don't think my spouse and i have ever had "make-up sex".  I am never in the mood after a fight.   guess we have been missing out on wild crazy sex.

@N+T: Yeah, you and me both. lol. There's a difference between a so called fight that actually gives both parties a better understanding even though it's a disagreement, as opposed to pointless arguing, especially about the same things continuously with no progress. At some point, someone is going to digress. And actually hot sex after arguing is probably a  sign of a healthy relationship because it sure as hell means you aren't mad anymore. And I know couples, with an S, that haven't had sex in years, or it's been sooo long they can't remember the last time. And they accept it....it's not uncommon at all.

i've never understood the "haven't had sex in years" thing.  i know we all get busy, have kids, life goes on...but years!  that's crazy!

i have a friend who is my age and hasn't had sex with her husband in almost 2 years (since they got pregnant with their son).  and it's not on her part either...she gets tired of being the one who initiates, so she just gave up.  and no, he's not cheating.  he says that sex just isn't that important to him, he's always been that way.  even when they first started dating/married, they only had sex once week or month. 4951

oh, and btw our fight was over the fact that my 2 year old daughter broke my new eyeliner while he was supposed to be watching her.

of course i shouldn't have gotten mad over that, i had a stressful day.  i made a comment about him not watching her and he went off like there was no tomorrow! 4951

@aggiebutterfly: It's true some people have really low sex drives. In your friend's case, that's an issue for sure. The couples I know in sexless marriages simply aren't happy, lots and lots of issues to all that. It's a sign of dysfunction at times or that the couple just aren't close anymore, especially those who've been married a long time or shouldn't be married at all. The Today did a segment on it the other day and how common it is...

@aggiebutterfly: One of our arguments  was while I was taking a shower, he went outside and left our 4 year old in the house unattended.  I heard her go outside a few minutes later (because of the beep sound on the alarm system) looking for her Father.  Well, he was down the street and not in the garage.  She keeps coming in and going out still looking for him.  I came out of the shower, went out the back door, found her standing in the driveway crying.  He was down the road drinking a beer with the neighbor oblivious to the fact that she was outside.  I was **** for weeks.

@ShineyApples: Mines 19, don't think that work, but really, weeks? Sounds wonderful.
So what else would make a wife not talk to her husband for an extended length of time?Just curious? Emoticon Emoticon 4951

@aggiebutterfly: Its obvious your anger was NOT over the eyeliner, you probably deep down were dissapointed that he wasnt keeping an eye on your baby. I know that's how I would be thinking. Fights are rarely over what they look to be over on the surface.
